·         Used to simulate models that are difficult to design
·         Uses CGI in 3 dimensional  x-ray scans
·         Precision in a surgical procedure is critical; CGI provides an identical computer animated version of any model for planning
·         Used in the medical field
Generating cloth and skin images
·         CGI used to create a realistic feel to computer animated models
·         Look younger, older, wimpier
·         Resolution of texture has limited range; close up projection has is less convincing on viewer
·         Used to create fold, bend, stretching of fabric
·         Used by graphic and fashion designers
Computer animation
·         Computer animation have made stop motion animation obsolete
·         Provides control of projected ideal situation
·         Eliminates actors, set pieces, and props
·         Used by graphic designers
