CGI is used extensively in industries such as:

·         Medical industry:  Create organs models.

·           Movie industry: Improve films visual effects.

·           Architecture industry:  View proposed buildings and landscapes models with CGI technology.

·           Video game industry: create CG effect for game running.

·           Science: Simulate chemical compounds models

·           Business: Commercials and corporate video.

Barriers to adoption

The cost could be a barrier to adopt CGI technology. CGI software for Production Company may cost over tens of thousands of dollars. Large Production Company may spend heavily to develop new software in order to coordinate with CGI software.
